Monk toby jug in blue jacket produced by Creil et Montereau circa 1900 standing 8 3/4" tall. This large Monk toby jug depicts a pious and portly servant of God dressed in his monastic robes a black hat and brown rope belt. The blue monk is also known in a medium size standing 6 3/4" tall. The mark was used by the factory between 1895 and 1920. Other colorways are known including all over white and green jugs.
