Elephant with Monkey barber majolica toby jug produced by Saint-Clement of France circa 1885. This elephant is wearing a large apron and sitting patiently while a careless monkey is giving him a shave. It looks like the monkey is close to shaving off a portion of his ear. The monkey forms the handle of the jug. This stands 10 1/2" high and is a rare jug.
