Electioneering Toby jug made in the Yorkshire region of England 1803. Called an Electioneering Toby jug because the jug he is holding is promoting a candidate in the upcoming election. Yorkshire tobies have some distinct characteristics including a six-sided goblet white tri-corn hat with scalloped edging and sponged underglaze bright colors around the base painted dots for eyebrows and a ship's figurehead handle. Written on the jug he is holding it says: "A Bumper Milton Forever". This is a very rare jug.
