Dressed Bulldog majolica toby jug produced by Sarreguemines of Lorraine, France, circa 1910, model number 4685. The British bulldog embodies British values, seeing it as a courageous and determined animal. By World War II, the bulldog took center stage as the symbol of British tenacity. This is one of six characters in the series of dressed animals.  The Dressed Bulldog stands 9 1/2" tall.
