Dracula and Helsing two-sided teapot prototype modeled by Anthony Cartlidge and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, in 2003. Professor Abraham Van Helsing is a fictional character in the novel "Dracula" (1897) by Bram Stoker. He is a Dutch doctor of advanced age and boasts a wide range of interests and accomplishments. However, he is best known as a vampire hunter and the particular nemesis of Dracula. In the novel, he is called in to assist with a mysterious illness and is the first to realize that the patient is a victim of a vampire. Later, Van Helsing leads a band of vampire hunters that pursues Dracula back to Transylvania, where they decapitate him and impale his heart, whereupon Dracula's body then crumbles to dust. A tree trunk forms the handle of the teapot while a stone wall forms the spout. The teapot stands 7" tall.
